Aspen in December - skiiing on the fabulous Rocky Mountains. It was a glorious week - outstanding, magnificent mountains with some of the most varied terrain in the world.

Painting
Painting always helps my mind to slow down and brings me peace. Its like medicine.
As I paint, I stop and observe - the vividness of colors and magical panoramas manifest themselves out of nowhere.
I have always sold my paintings only to private buyers and stayed away from the public.
But now my friends have persuaded me to put them online.
I hope you enjoy these paintings as much as I have enjoyed making them.
Let Nature Heal You
Spending time amongst the richness of nature is the best medicine for soul and body.
This year I have taken a sabbatical from work to slow down and reconnect to nature.
I spent the last two months in Nepal, home of the Himalaya Mountains and friendly Sherpas who were always willing to share a cup of sweet tea and milk biscuits with me.
Trekking through the mountains, after a few days, my mind calmed down and I felt relaxed and so peaceful - almost tingling with well-being. Slowly I started becoming aware of the music of the forest, a symphony made by the subtle buzzing of insects, the calls of the birds, the flutter of leaves in an unseen breeze overhead.
But it was not a symphony of sound alone. The scents of loam and moss, leaf and fruits, meshed with the sound I heard and the physical sensations of walking, of brushing past a low branch or sinking deep into moss.
Spending time in the mountains was really an amazing experience - an experience that involved me more completely than anything I had felt in life.
